My MacBook Pro has a declining battery health after the recent OS update, why?

I have an M3 Max of less than a year old that is at 88% health. I think there is some sort of background processing going on with the new "Intelligence" features and it is churning through cycles. Should anyone in the community techzeel have discovered a solution to this "System Data" battery drain, I would like to know. I would hate to need to clean install.
