I have just placed an 8x10 in my living room and I feel like it makes the entire room seem smaller. I have read a guide about abodelook that the legs of all the furniture must be covered with a rug, but at the moment, I have only the front legs of my sofa in contact with the rug. Is it better to size up to a 9x12 for Area Rugs, or is there a way to layer it to make it look intentional? and so much vexed with myself just now.
