Migrating from IMAP to Office 365 manually involves several steps. Here's a general guide to help you with the process:

Set up Office 365 Account: Start by creating an Office 365 account and setting up the necessary user mailboxes and domains.

Gather IMAP Account Details: Collect the IMAP account details, including the server address, port number, and login credentials for each user.

Enable IMAP Connectivity: Ensure that IMAP access is enabled on the source email server (e.g., your current email provider). Check the server settings or contact your email provider for assistance if needed.

Add Domains to Office 365: Add the domains associated with your email accounts to Office 365. This allows Office 365 to receive emails for those domains.

Create User Mailboxes: Set up user mailboxes in Office 365 corresponding to each IMAP account. Configure the necessary user settings, including display name and email address.

Configure Outlook for Office 365: Install and open Outlook on each user's computer. Set up Outlook with the Office 365 account details, such as the email address and password. Outlook will automatically detect the Office 365 configuration and begin the synchronization process.

Import Emails and Folders: In Outlook, create the necessary folders to match the folder structure in your IMAP accounts. Then, manually copy emails and other data from the corresponding folders in the IMAP accounts to the newly created folders in Office 365.

Move Contacts and Calendars: Export contacts and calendars from the IMAP accounts and import them into the Office 365 accounts. This can typically be done using CSV or PST files.

Test and Verify: Once the data migration is complete, thoroughly test the Office 365 accounts to ensure that emails, contacts, and calendars have been successfully migrated. Verify that you can send and receive emails, access contacts, and view calendars without any issues.

Update DNS Records: Update the DNS records for your domain to point to Office 365. This ensures that new emails are delivered to the Office 365 mailboxes instead of the old IMAP accounts.

Greetings,
Peter
