Our  body’s immune system is an unbelievably intricate communication between organs, surfaces, cells , glands, body systems and chemicals. This philharmonic concert of processes requires nourishment in order to function properly. A multitude of disease causing micro-organisms, including influenza, the viruses, or fungal growths can be treated or cured by many herbs and other substances that are used around the world to nourish and support immunity since centuries.
At the heart of many pain-causing situations is chronic inflammation. It can become chronic due to factors like poor diet, stress, lack of exercise, and exposure to environmental toxins. A number of herbs can be used to cure inflammation-related condition such as arthritis, neck and back pain, ortendonitis. These herbs may not be fast –relieving as the standard pain medication but they aid in diminishing the pain when used regularly combined with daily exercise and the practice of relaxation techniques.
More than 100 plants are known for pain-relieving assets, but some are really outstanding. Devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) , capsaicin from hot chiles (Capsicum spp.), gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) from seed oils and certain blended herbal extracts are especially good in treatment of pain relief. Also white willow (Salix spp.) and peppermint (Mentha piperita) are known to have more pain relieving benefits.
Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory chronic disease that causes pain and swelling of the joints, especially the smaller joints of the hands and feet affecting both sides of the body at the same time. Since there is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, so people opt for a number of natural remedies to cure this condition.  There is an evidence that omega-3 fatty acids may improve the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Also gamma-linoleic acid, another type of crucial fatty acid, found in borage oil, black currant seed oil, and evening primrose oils helps in curing this condition. Boswellia having boswellia acids as an active ingredient  is a herb that comes from a tree native to India and is found to block chemical reactions involved in inflammation. It is used by people with rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions to reduce the symptoms.
Devil’s claw is a South African herb that eases muscular tension or pain in the back, shoulders and neck and joints. An extremely popular cure for osteoarthritic pain, it may ease rheumatoid arthritic pain as well. Devil’s claw extract has been shown to improve mobility within a few weeks reducing osteoarthritic pain by 25 percent. It may take 2 months for the enhancement of the mobility. This herb is strictly not suitable during pregnancy, lacting period or for young children and individuals with liver or kidney disease, or digestive system ulcers.
A well known herb Capsaicin manipulates the body’s pain status by hampering pain perception, activating the release of pain-relieving endorphins and supplying analgesic action. Capsaicin creams are used for arthritic and nerve pain. Creams containing .025 percent capsaicin can appreciably reduce osteoarthritic. On the other hand higher concentration of .075 percent works best for peripheral nerve pain such as  from diabetic nerve damage, HIV and pain following cancer surgery. Capsaicin can also be taken orally to cure digestive discomfort or dyspepsia. A daily dosage of capsaicin reduces pain, bloating and nausea over a few weeks. Munching hot peppers can protect your stomach from prescription-drug damage.
If you are amongst one of the millions of people who suffer from chronic inflammation or a stomach ulcer and the standard medication doesn’t provide any relief, there is hope beyond simply taking any pharmaceutical drugs, all of which merely state the symptoms of the problem rather than the cause. One must incorporate one or more of these natural herbs into your everyday diet for lasting, curative relief.
