I have just viewed the strangest looking celosia plant on the abodelook site (it has the quaint brain-shaped flowers). I do not have a yard so I wonder whether a celosia plant can survive inside the house next to a very sunny window? Is there any celosia in the house? I dread it would be bent in the sunless garden.
That’s an interesting question because celosia always seemed like one of those plants that thrives more outside with plenty of sunlight, but I’ve seen a few people manage it indoors with the right spot and care. The challenge really comes down to light and airflow, which can be tricky inside a home. It reminds me how much environment matters in general, even when looking at ideas from Seacoast Gardener around seacoast landscaping, where plants have to handle completely different conditions. From personal experience, if you can mimic those outdoor conditions indoors as closely as possible, celosia can survive, but it definitely takes a bit more attention than typical houseplants.
