Is The Ease Of Expanding An Hms Photovoltaik System Later Can Be Calculated?

I intend on having a solar installation which will be open to more panels in the future when my energy requirements increase. They continue to say that HMS Photovoltaik is ideal in the quest to expand modularly since it removes the constraint of the size of the strings. But how easy is it really? Should I now need additional wiring or new inverters in two years time after I choose to add some panels? Would the monitoring system identify new modules without any hitch? Anybody in this group who has extended his HMS infrastructure, how painless was the experience?
