To manually import or convert an Outlook OST (Offline Storage Table) file, you can follow these steps:

Open Outlook in Offline Mode: Ensure that Outlook is closed, and then open it in Offline Mode. This can be done by either disconnecting your computer from the network or disabling the network connection temporarily. This step is crucial to prevent any synchronization conflicts during the import process.

Create a New Outlook Data File (PST):

a. Open Outlook and go to the "File" tab in the top menu.

b. Select "Account Settings" and then choose "Account Settings" again from the drop-down menu.

c. In the Account Settings window, go to the "Data Files" tab.

d. Click on "Add" to create a new Outlook Data File (PST).

e. Choose a location and provide a name for the new PST file.

f. Click "OK" to create the PST file.

Import OST File Data into the New PST File:

a. With the Account Settings window still open, go to the "Data Files" tab.

b. Select the newly created PST file and click on "Set as Default" to make it the default data file for your Outlook profile.

c. Close the Account Settings window.

Import OST File Data:

a. In Outlook, go to the "File" tab and select "Open & Export."

b. Choose "Import/Export" from the options.

c. In the Import and Export Wizard window, select "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."

d. Choose "Outlook Data File (.pst)" and click "Next."

e. Click on the "Browse" button and navigate to the location of the OST file you want to import.

f. Select the OST file and click "Open."

g. Choose the desired options for importing (e.g., importing into existing folders or creating new folders) and click "Next."

h. Select the newly created PST file as the destination for importing the OST file data.

i. Choose the appropriate option for handling duplicates, if prompted.

j. Click "Finish" to start the import process.

Wait for the Import to Complete:

The import process may take some time, depending on the size of the OST file and the amount of data being imported. Allow Outlook to complete the import process without interruption.

Verify Imported Data:

Once the import process is complete, you can verify that the OST file data has been successfully imported into the new PST file. Check the respective folders in Outlook to ensure that the emails, contacts, calendar items, and other data from the OST file are now accessible within your Outlook profile.
