To manually migrate from an IMAP server to Office 365, you can follow these general steps:

Set up Office 365:
Create a new Office 365 tenant and set up user accounts for migration.
Ensure that the user accounts in Office 365 match the user accounts on the IMAP server.

Enable IMAP Access:
Make sure that IMAP access is enabled on the source IMAP server.
Obtain the IMAP server address, port number, and login credentials for each user.

Configure Outlook for Office 365:
Set up Microsoft Outlook with the user accounts in Office 365.
Configure the Outlook profiles to connect to the respective Office 365 mailboxes.

Create Local PST Files:
In Outlook, create a new PST file for each user to store the migrated mailbox data.
These PST files will be used to temporarily store the data before importing it into the Office 365 mailboxes.

Connect to IMAP Server:
In Outlook, configure an IMAP account for each user using the IMAP server details.
Allow Outlook to synchronize with the IMAP server and download the mailbox data to the local PST file.

Export Mailbox Data to PST:
Once the mailbox data is downloaded to the local PST file, use the Export feature in Outlook to export the data from the local PST file to a new PST file.

Import PST Files to Office 365:
Use the Import service in Office 365 to import the PST files into the corresponding Office 365 mailboxes.
Follow the Office 365 documentation and guidelines to import the PST files using the Office 365 Admin Center or PowerShell commands.

Verify and Clean Up:
Once the data has been imported, verify that all mailbox items, such as emails, contacts, and calendars, have been successfully migrated to Office 365.
Clean up any duplicate or unnecessary data that might have been imported during the migration process.

Update DNS and Redirect Mail Flow:
Update the DNS settings to point the MX records to Office 365 to ensure that new emails are delivered to the Office 365 mailboxes.
Redirect the mail flow from the IMAP server to Office 365 to ensure that incoming emails are directed to the correct mailboxes.

Regards,
Peter
