To convert MBOX (Mailbox) files to PDF (Portable Document Format) manually, you can follow these steps:

Open a supported email client: There are multiple email clients that support MBOX files, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and Microsoft Outlook (with the help of an add-on). Choose the email client you prefer and have it installed on your computer.

Import the MBOX file: Launch the email client and import the MBOX file into the client. The process for importing MBOX files varies depending on the email client you are using. Generally, you can find the import option in the settings or preferences section of the email client.

View and select emails: Once the MBOX file is imported, you should see the emails within the email client. Navigate to the folder containing the emails you want to convert to PDF.

Print the emails: Open each email individually and go to the print preview or print option. The specific steps may vary depending on the email client. Look for a print option or use the shortcut keys (e.g., Ctrl + P on Windows or Command + P on Mac) to open the print dialog.

Choose the PDF printer: In the print dialog, select a PDF printer as the printer destination. If you don't have a PDF printer installed, you can use a virtual PDF printer like "Microsoft Print to PDF" (available on Windows) or "Save as PDF" (available on Mac).

Configure print settings: Adjust any print settings as needed, such as the page orientation, page size, and margins. You can typically find these settings within the print dialog of the email client.

Print to PDF: Click on the "Print" or "Save" button to start the conversion process. The email will be printed to a PDF file instead of a physical printer. Specify the location where you want to save the PDF file and give it a suitable name.

Repeat for other emails: Repeat the process for each email you want to convert to PDF. You can either print one email at a time or select multiple emails and print them together.

Verify the converted PDF files: Once the conversion process is complete, navigate to the specified location where the PDF files were saved. Open each PDF file with a PDF reader to verify that the content has been successfully converted.

Greetings,
Peter
