Are you a person who spends prolonged hours before computer screen? If so, then chances are high that you may develop some eye-related disorders.  There are various eye exercises that your fitness trainers will prescribe to you. They may ask you to focus on some object which is about 10 feet away after every 20 minutes of your staring on the screen. Or they may ask you to close your eyes and rest for a few seconds before resuming work.

All these exercises are aimed at alleviating the pressure and stress on the eyes. Eyes are one of our important sense organs and one need to care for the eyes without fail.  Ayurveda has many traditional treatment methods which help the patients reduce the pressure on eyes and remain in a healthy state. Netra Tarpan Kriya is one such therapy which nourishes and cleanses the eyes. In this therapy, medicated oil and ghee are used to cover the eyes and this process removes the inner tension of the sockets.

The treatment has also proven to be effective in nourishing ophthalmic nerves and it enhances the vision. The nervous system connected with the eyes too gets nourishment by the treatment. You can avail this treatment from any kerala ayurvedic center after consulting with an Ayurvedic practitioner.  This treatment will help you relieve pain and dryness of eyes and cure other eye-related problems.
